“Sem Rede” is a show about the decline of the millennial generation at the height of social networks and artificial intelligence. On a warm rainy night in the year 2023, a young courier suffers a motorcycle accident when she crashes into Vicente’s car, which is on its way to the premiere of the international series he is starring in. Instead of going to hospital, Vicente takes Marta home. For some hidden reason, he can’t let her leave. In a combat ring between unbridled fame and survival in a precarious artistic industry, the installation of an obtuse island of thought in modern times and the resistance to opening new dialogues about abusive relationships in young people, workplace harassment, loneliness and the importance of feminism for the common future are projected. Neutralism slowly settles in as the new systemic figure that allows things to continue as they are, but without too much turmoil.
