Hard III revolves around the idea of travelling. In a double sense. On the one hand, it aims to evoke the journey of ‘civilisation’ over time, from the episode of Noah’s Ark to the tragic sinking of the Titanic. On the other hand, travelling – or more specifically tourism – is presented as a current manifestation of the moral paradox of development.
