In the throbbing of an ancestral memory, the performer looks for his first references in the real/fictitious creative transit that suggests an old Portuguese work outfit. Straw, present in various ordinary and numinous rituals of knowledge and doing in different cultures, is used as a device for re/discoveries triggered by the artist’s body, which had to abandon dance as a vocation in order to survive. The memory of affections inspires the awakening of the enchanted, sewing itself with the reference of the Lusitanian garment, awakening it from what it was destined for: the work that forgets the celebration. In the dance forgotten by a spirit, in a body forgotten by the dance, straw flies.
