IV Visual Culture Meeting: Reparations
A CASA É TUA (The house is yours) is a mala voadora program in which the Rua do Almada building and a certain amount of money are entrusted to a guest that will be put in charge of a programming period. For the first edition of this initiative, we invited Kitty Furtado who proposed that we join Inês Beleza Barreiros in organising the IV Encontro de Cultura Visual: Reparações. Researchers, artists and activists come together to think about the project of repairing the shattered world in which we live as a countervisuality program. The objective is to broaden and deepen the debate regarding historical reparations in Portugal, in its multiple aspects.
