Ensaio lírico was the result of a collaboration between Jorge Andrade and Marco da Silva Ferreira and was presented as part of Rivoli’s 87th anniversary programme. It’s an anniversary celebration focussed on the future. Guests are welcomed by a group of 10 astrologers whose mission is to give them news of their future. During this durational performance, Jorge Andrade and Marco da Silva Ferreira sing Happy Birthday uninterruptedly, with their voices processed in auto-tune.
