mala voadora joins the architecture course at the University of Minho to present an exhibition. The Emerging Programmes area of the 5th year of the course spent a semester trying to imagine what the ‘post-museum’ or the ‘museum without objects’ that Françoise Vergès theoretically enunciates in her book Decolonising the Museum: A Programme of Absolute Disorder might look like in practice. This was a mission in which three ‘disciplines’ came together – Atelier, Seminar and Critique of Contemporary Architecture – and to which students from Portugal, Brazil and Morocco dedicated themselves: Ana Cláudia Carvalho, Ana Margarida Teixeira, Beatriz Boulter, Carlota Pereira, Célia Barbosa, Elisa Silva, Francisco Rodrigues, Gonçalo Alves, Helena Macedo, Hevelin Ferreira, Inês Gonçalves, João Alves, Luana Martins, Margarida Teixeira, Matilde Vieira, Mohamed Nabil Hadim, Nathaly Lettieri, Pedro Ferreira, Rodrigo Pereira, Rúben Alves and Vitoria Kassardjian. The work was supervised by José Capela, Sarah Shrbaji and Carlos Machado e Moura.
