CORTEJO is a guided-performance tour of the Palácio de Cristal Gardens, the site of the 1934 Portuguese Colonial Exhibition, through which the spaces and ideas of the exhibition are tensioned by the absence of buildings and bodies or by their replacement through new themes. The evocation of ruins or empty spaces is the logic behind the entire route.
