Arquivo Têxtil is a performance-installation in which a column of clothing rises as a memorial of bodies, carrying within its fibres the traces of past presences. In dialogue with the textile sculptures of Michelangelo Pistoletto and with Column (1962) by Robert Morris, the work presents itself as a queer version of these masculine references in art history. The performative environment is transformed into a territory of traces, where dressing is revealed as a political act, inviting the audience to rethink both the excesses of consumption and the normativities of body and identity.
