The performance 7≈8 is an immersive and ethereal experience, in an ecosystem inhabited by the artist and the audience where two intersecting embodied landscapes unfold, mapping their identity and circumscribing their transition. The scenographic vision of the piece transports the audience to the absolute simplicity of a work about the body, mind and soul. It proposes the careful observation of acts such as waking up, breathing, getting up, drying off, transitioning and revealing, which simultaneously contain boldness and vulnerability. The infinity-shaped water mirror, the sound emanation, the celestial dress and the presence of the four natural elements contribute to an otherworldly atmosphere achieved through the use of time and meticulous sculpting of space.
7 ≈ 8 is the culmination of deep introspection and the courage to deconstruct and reconstruct one’s own history, sharing it.
