Solaura “Love is what love does,” writes M. Scott Peck; it is an act of will, not an accident that happens to us. It is from this place that Aura and Sol Santana, transdisciplinary artists and partners, set out to develop Solaura (working title), a trans-led art-life project that seeks ways of living and loving rooted in care, radical intimacy, and queer ecologies. Drawing on *All About Love* by bell hooks, they set out to reimagine dissident experiences in the present-future, intersecting gender, sexuality, and healing through a choreography composed of minimal gestures—kissing, touching, gazing, embracing, and intertwining—in a space-time where water, ethereal sound, luminous reflections, and translucent textures are as much a part of the dramaturgy as the bodies themselves. In Campilhas, the work focuses primarily on the sound that accompanies this dramaturgy and on the movement that is inseparable from it—one of five phases in a process that will not conclude until 2027 and will also take the production to Zurich, Vienna, London, Leeds, and various cities in Brazil before returning to Portugal on tour.
