Zoo Story
Through the chance encounter of two men in New York’s Central Park and the consequent diagnosis of the social (and interior) contexts that distinguish them, Edward Albee triggers in The Zoo Story “an examination of the American way of life […], a stand against the notion that everything in our sliding land is great.” We asked João Mota to direct this play because of his consolidated ethical and methodological vision of theatre, particularly convergent with the political nature and the extreme emotions of the text.
