Queer Porto 4 . #LOSMICRÓFONOS
In #LOSMICRÓFONOS, Jorge Dutor and Guillem Mont de Palol submerge themselves in a common universe constantly surrounding us: pop culture. A choreography made up of names, song titles and refrains where the performers suggest landscapes through which the audience arrives in a field of strangeness and deviations, personal memories and wild associations, creating relationships between the different elements proposed.
How can we become microphones to amplify our discourse? How can we empower pop culture to suggest rhythms, dynamics, sensations and affections with the potential to open the eye of the beholder and the ears of the listener? What does it mean to be pop or popular?
