AMAZÔNIA NÃO É UMA FICÇÃO (Amazon is not a fiction) by Tiago Cadete, A AMAZÓNIA É O SÍTIO MAIS TRISTE DO MUNDO (The Amazon is the saddest place in the world) by Sónia Baptista with Carolina Campos and Júlia Rocha, and HORTO – UMA FORMA QUE VEM DO TOQUE (Horto - form from touch) by Guilherme de Sousa and Pedro Azevedo are the call for art's three winning projects of the Happy Together programe's 3rd edition, promoted by mala voadora in partnership with the Municipality of Porto.
The three winning projects were chosen based on their relation with Fórum do Futuro's subject - Terra Elétrica / Electric Earth - and their dialogue with the proposed ideas by mala voadora's guest speakers – the artist, technologist and philosopher, Koert van Mensvoort, and the Voluntary Human Extinction Movement's activist, Les Knight – and with the show “Amazónia” by mala voadora. They'll receive 1500€ to run their projects.
The jury responsible for the proposal's selection was composed by three mala voadora's elements (Jorge Andrade, José Capela e Vânia Rodrigues), Guilherme Blanc, representing the Municipality of Porto, Daniel Fraga, archiitect and investigator and Marcelo Evelin, dancer and choreographer.
The inauguration of Happy Together 3 exhibition, at mala voadora, will be at November 4th at 9 p.m., before Fórum do Futuro 2017 official opening.
