Huis Clos
Without ever having known each other, Garcin, Inês and Estrela are doomed to remain forever locked in the same room together after their deaths and to find only in one another endless source of displeasure. “Hell is other people”. Huis Clos is an balancing exercise between presenting the text as a self-sufficient work of literature or dilute it within a “staging”. The performers act sitting down on waiting room chairs, limited to changing seats and withstanding the heat emanating from projectors placed deliberately to close to them.
