Ex Machina
Ex Machina is a research on the concept of deus ex machina. We intend to investigate the different appearances and representations of deus ex machina in literature, theater, cinema, both classical and contemporary, to reflect on such an efficient and spectacular dramaturgical mechanism and to rethink the common elements of all these representations of the the superhuman. Who is contemporary deus ex machina? Who are the new superheroes? Who are our superheroes? Who are the new superheroes? Who are our superheroes? We want to reflect on the miraculous solutions that arise unexpectedly and how, in literature and film, they are always associated with a certain idea of astonishment. In Ex Machina, problems do not exist, there is no drama, there are just deus ex machina that perform their spectacular and dramatic appearances, revealing their super-powers.
