Beaumarchais
Beaumarchais results from a partnership betweenmala voadora and Pedro Amaral, a composer, maestro and musicologist. It is an opera based on three texts of "Beaumarchais" that already were, all of them, adapted to an opera in the past. The three new versions will be studio recorded, being that studio the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II's stage. There will be the soundproof recording cabin, the microphones, the mixing tables, monitors, all the equipment, catering, technicians, cleaning team, the concierge staff, RP's, everything. There will be real workers - elements of the working class,fulfilling its political and social vocation, that will claim their rights. They will fight, do revolutions and lynch the oppressors. This show could be called Revolutionary Riots at Deutsche Grammophon, or Class Struggle at Decca (this one's less glamorous). Beaumarchais would have like it.
