A group of avant-garde artists goes to Amazonia to shoot an ecological soap opera. The planet needs it, people are interested, it's ethical, it's urgent, it is going to have audience. #compromisedart The artists are looking for financing and the soap opera's characters too, because they also want to undertake: they want to civilize Amazonia, follow the universal path of civilization. The artists want the soap opera to be realistic - that the actions of the characters are carried out with truth - and we do too. The realism is the future. “Even if it’s true that we really are screwed, let’s not spend the rest of our lives on this planet telling ourselves how screwed we are.”
Because it wouldn't make sense to address an ecological theme without being ecological, this show's concretization is based on the element's thrift: the set is borrowed, the light design is recycled, the music is from other mala voadora's show and the scenes are copied from other people's shows. We even went to Edimburgh to see what they've done there and copy it here. #copyleft
