Curtain Falls is a work that arises from a dream or a projection. It’s about showing and hiding – showing the construction process, and hiding from it and in it. Hiding and revealing. Working together or alone and sad.
It’s a class that teaches you how to build a curtain. In this workshop you will be guided through all the stages of its making and (un)construction process, from the choice of fabric to its final installation.
I build a curtain to cry in peace. To create a safe place, a barrier to protect me or distance me from something.
Every time you close a curtain, something ends.
How does a curtain die?
Associated with the performance will be the exhibition Curtain Falls (work title).
